AWHONN requires Intermediate participants to complete the online prerequisite education before class. GoalsNMynd requires completion at least 72 hours before the scheduled class begins. This is a completion deadline; it does not mean the prerequisite is 72 hours long. The prerequisite is included with the participant materials purchased through Kendall Hunt. After registration, you will receive material-purchase instructions and the exact Monticello venue details.
LaShounn Stevenson, BSN, RN, brings over 17 years of nursing experience, with more than 11 years at the labor and delivery bedside. She is an authorized AWHONN FHM Program Instructor for Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring, a clinical adjunct faculty member, and the founder of GoalsNMynd Education and Wellness, LLC. She teaches the way she practices — clinically grounded, evidence-based, and never above the bedside nurse she trains.
